Things I will make
My work consists of real butterflies, moths and other insects displayed in frames and glass domes. Dried flowers, sticks, crystals and sometimes bones are also used in my work. I am more than happy to work with specific specimens, crystals or other items at your request, so long as they are consistent with my ethics and that I can source them from my suppliers. Due to Australian biosecurity laws some specimens just aren't available here so please contact me separately before submitting an order form to see if I can get the specific insect. If an item is out of stock at the time, I am more than happy to notify you when it is back in and we can pick up where we left off with the commission order.
Things I wont make
I will not work with protected CITES listed specimens, specimens and/or materials you have caught or found yourself, taxidermy (excluding professionally pre-processed bones I order myself) or other sourced materials that don't align with my ethics. I will not directly copy someone else’s work, I pride myself on uniqueness. I do not create resin art or resin set specimens as I’d like to keep my work as natural as possible. I can and will decline commissions that do not align with my business or ethics.
Descriptions
If you have a very specific idea in mind please be as descriptive as possible. You are welcome to draw diagrams or show me some reference images so I can get an understanding for your vision. Time Frame
Commissioned items will take me a number of weeks or even a month to create due to supplies needing to be shipped, hydration/ setting times and sourcing other materials. I work hard to make sure everything is created in a timely manner but each artwork is different and takes different amounts of time to create. Please tell me if you want it done by a specific date and I can let you know if it's possible. I will always inform you if I am running behind schedule.
Price and Payments
After discussing the design and confirming with you, I will send you a quote for the commission. All quotes exclude shipping costs. Quotes will expire after 1 week from the send date and you may make major adjustments to the design during this time. After the quote is accepted I will send a deposit notice/ invoice equal to 50% of the total cost (excluding shipping) to be paid. This will have a 24hr payment time frame and cancellation of your order is a risk if no payment or communication is made within this timeframe. If you need more time please let me know and I'm more than happy to work something out with you. Only once payment is made will I start the work. Minor changes can be made throughout the creation process however they must stay within the price range. Once the work is finished I will send you a photo if you wish, to confirm that you are happy with it. Once approved by you, I will send the second invoice with the remaining 50% and Shipping cost to be paid. Only once payment is received will I ship the artwork. Please see cancellation information below. Please be aware that commissions will cost a bit more than my pre-made works. I will do my best to work with your budget however this can be more difficult if you have specific specimens in mind.

Cancellations
Cancellations for change of mind are free of charge up until the deposit has been paid, after this point deposits will not be refunded.
